In response to an alarmingly high divorce rate among Officers, the LMPD Command Staff asked the Foundation for ideas to possibly help. In response, LMPF Board-member Pastor Bob Russell initiated a marriage enrichment program to address the issue in an open and comforting environment.
Community Partnerships: The LMPF teamed up with the Safety & Security store to purchase 72 "Clubs" to assist the LMPD Safe City program. Also, after a rash of bank robberies, National City Bank asked how they could help the LMPD. As a result, they purchased equipment for the S.W.A.T team.
